Hehe… back from 2 day Hiatus (so sorry kati =\). So this time its Bleach Movie 2: DiamondDust Rebellion,  another Hyourinmaru.

Synopsis:

When a royal Soul Reaper treasure known as the Ouin is stolen, Toshiro Hitsugaya, boy-wonder captain of Squad 10, disappears along with it. When another captain is wounded by an apparent attack from Hitsugaya’s zanpakuto, an execution order is issued. Wounded, on the run, and tortured by the true identity of the thief—Kusaka, a friend he thought long deceased—Hitsugaya must try single-handedly to snuff the ambitions of his resurrected friend. Or must he? After all, there is a certain orange-headed Substitute Soul Reaper who has a thing for lending a hand to the underdog, and his big nose has a habit of poking itself into others’ business.

Review:

Finally, Tite Kubo changes pace to a movie that doesn’t really involve Ichigo “majorly” like in Bleach Movie 1. Otherwise the plot is awesome for me and makes all sense to the viewers. The OP and ED matches the theme of the movie really well. I think this is going to be a good review.

Plot:

The plot is a good mix of Action, Suspense and Mystery. I found it a good movie compared to the other similar genres the movies has. Comparing this movie’s plot to Bleach Movie 1, its a huge difference. Bleach Movie 2 has the best plot out of the 3 Bleach movies I have seen (Bleach Movie 3: Fade to Black). Not because of Toshiro, because of the plot twists if you know what I mean. The plot is exceptional for me.

Character Design/Art/Given Personality:

Other than the old characters like “Toshiro, Rangiku, Ichigo, Rukia etc.”. No comment for that. But lets focus on the new characters like Sojiro Kusaka, who stole the Ouin (kings seal). His character design is not bad but it could have been better somehow… his personality which is usually nice and a cheerful. Then Toshiro killed him for his sake. Thats when Kusaka became angry and arrogant. The angry style of Kusaka should have been his personality all along because he knows that Toshiro is a strong person. Focusing on other stuff like details of the background. I would say it just fine but they should improve the background art because its like only single colored in different shades.

BGM and ED:

I would say that the background music is suspenseful, which is GOOD. The ending has a connection to the plot which is also GOOD (lol… the caps). You know what I mean now =]
