Yagami is an intelligent boy who is top in his school and even the country in all academic subjects. However, Yagami hates how filthy the world has become, Murderers, kidnappers, thieves, etc. All are now a part of modern day life. The world is rotting and all he can do is sit there and watch. That is untill one day as he was sitting in school a black book fell from the sky into the school’s courtyard. After the lesson he noticed the book was still lieing there and noone seemed to have noticed it. Where had the book come from? It seemed to have appeared in the sky from nowhere. On closer inspection of the book the cover said 2 words. “Death Note”, opening the cover was a set of instructions on how to use the book. Could this thing be real? No it couldn’t be. Deciding the book was nothing more than an incredibly thought out hoax Light decided he would just ignore it, but for some reason he kept it in his bag. That night curiosity overcame him, what if the book is real? He had to try it, however after proving the book was real he soon began to fear the book, however his mind suddenly came up with a brilliant idea, Why not use this book to change the world? Only he could do it. However after the appearance of Ryuk the death god who was now to follow him everywhere and with the sudden appearance of a nemesis bent on stopping his plan would he prevail? Why did people want to stop him purifying the world? What is this Death Note? What will be the result of his actions?
