I got this great CD a couple of months ago to review. It was supposed to be for the zine. The name of the CD is DJ Initial P’s Anime Love Hardcore 2. We gave a positive review of Anime Love Hardcore, in 2010. I was excited to be able to listen to the new CD.

Anime Love Hardcore 2 has been in my laptop’s drive since I got it in Mid-April. I’ve listened to it several times, as well as let a few of our fellow staff members check it out.

After listening to the CD as many times as I have (at least 20) I decided to listen to the original versions. I must say I am impressed. There was not a single track on Anime Love Hardcore 2 I didn’t look forward to listening to again and again.

I must say any lover of J-Pop and/or happy hardcore will appreciate the album. A couple of the gems on here (in my opinion ) are the 4th opening of  Bakemonogatari, Renai Circulation (It even got me to check the first few episodes out too) and Still Doll from Vampire Knight.

LikitaRenn: I am usually not all that fond of happy hardcore, but DJ Initial P has created some truly catchy tunes that get me hyper! I should start listening to Anime Love Hardcore 2 every time I have stuff that I need to accomplish!

I give Anime Love Hardcore 2 5/5. I really hope there will be an Anime Love Hardcore 3.
