Daemon’s Revealed Weakness Gives Cod the Upper Hand

Boruto: Daemon's Weakness Has Finally Been Revealed

In Chapter 71 of Boruto manga Code discovers that Daemon is weak in battle, and thus gains the upper-hand in villains’ civil warfare.

The following contains spoilers for Chapter 71 of Boruto: Naruto Next Generations, “Hindrance,” by Masashi Kishimoto, Mikio Ikemoto, Mari Morimoto and Snir Aharon, now available in English from Viz Media.

BorutoFans were stunned by Eida’s entry into the franchise and her omnipotent abilities. Eida was able to predict the future and use her all-seeing eyes, as well as trace back the past up until the moment she was born. Code joined forces with the Cyborg to help him sacrifice Boruto. She also wanted to carry out Isshiki’s will by draining Earth’s chakra using the Ten Tails so that he could eat chakra fruit and become Isshiki’s chosen vessel.

Daemon, Eida’s younger brother, has proven to be even more terrifying. He was lightning-fast, and he was one of the most terrifying characters I’ve ever seen. BorutoHe was one of the most powerful characters in terms raw strength. However, he could also reflect any attacks — even though his opponent was only thinking about it. This made him a mischievous god. However, Code found out his weakness in Chapter 71.

Code wanted Amado to die after kidnapping an ex-Kara scientist. Amado was a traitor, Code hated him. Konoha helped Konoha to take Isshiki out. What made this the perfect moment was that Code had just removed Code’s limits. This gave him full access Isshiki’s power, making Amado unavoidable.

Amado worked his forked tongue and told Eida that he could win Kawaki’s love. She had to accept Shikamaru’s offer and find refuge in Konoha. This would allow her to win over the only person who is not able to use her talents. Code became irritated at Eida’s feelings — all due to her powers infatuation — but Daemon beat Code when Code tried to rip Amado apart.

Despite Code’s access to Isshiki, Daemon used Isshiki’s might and his reflective abilities to batter him. However, the servant Bug pointed out Daemon’s flaws during the fracas. To use the reflection, the tiny mite must be touching someone. It doesn’t matter if the mite is touching his opponents or anyone else nearby. Once Daemon’s palms touch human skin, he can whip back attacks even without knowing they are coming. Code could not capitalize and had to flee with Bug.

Despite the fact that they had to retreat, developments in BorutoChapter 71 allows Code to practice his newfound skills and strategize more effectively. He is emotional and wants everyone in Hidden Leaf to die. This is especially true when he knows that Eida, his beloved Eida, may be going there to be with Kawaki. Bug is also an asset as he can help Code level up, plan tactics, and know where Eida’s weak points are.

Code is still as ignorant as ever and can plot to get Daemon to give up on him and to remove the reflection. Although it seems cruel, he knows that Daemon is a destroyer. He also knows that Daemon’s bodyguard is standing in his way to get Eida and complete the mission Isshiki began with the God Tree.
