Ash vs. Cynthia is the latest battle of Pokemon Journeys. It has been trending for a while now. The trailer for the battle between Asha, Cynthia and the rest of the battle is out. We will be discussing the details and who wins. These two amazing characters are from Pokemon Journeys: The Series, an ongoing anime releasing a new episode every week. The battle between Ash, Cynthia and the mighty sand dragon is continuing in Pokemon Journeys: The Series Episodes 122-124. Many fans have predicted the battle.
CHAMPION CYNTHIA’S POKÉMON
- Spiritomb, level 61, ghost/dark
- Roserade, level 60, grass/poison
- GastrodonLevel 60, water/ground
- Togekiss, level 63, fairy/flying
- Milotic, Level 63: Water
- Garchomp, level 66, dragon/ground
There is a reason why so many people make jokes about Cynthia being a nightmare, and it’s because she kind of is one. It’s hard for her to plan against and she hits so hard, you have to get rid of them immediately.
Many of them have easy weaknesses to exploit, but speed becomes the name of the game because her Pokémon will counter you if you try to exploit their weaknesses. It is a frustrating fight between Milotic, who knows Ice Beam (because it does), and Gastrodon, who knows Sludge Bomb.
Her Garchomp, a monster with high levels of skill, is notable. It will use Earthquake to try and exploit its quadrupled vulnerability to ice-types. However, it is best to use an ice-type who knows ice-type moves to take it down. Knock it out quickly, as it also knows Swords Dance, a move that sharply boosts its attack, and that’s enough to make a grown man cry or at least make a Dragon Claw hurt very much.
Pokemon Ash Team
- Pikachu, level 60, Electric
- Dragonite, level 60 Dragon/Flying
- Gengar, level 60, Ghost/Poison
- Lucario, level 60 fighting/steel
- Sirfetch’d, level 60, Fightning
- Dracovish, level 60, Water/Dragon
Only Based on Our Estimation
Ash Ketchum is on the most successful win streak in his life. Pokémon Journeys anime and now stands a mere three wins away from being declared the official strongest trainer in the world. Alain, his strongest rival, and two of the legendary Regional Champions Lance, Steven and Cynthia, Iriss, Diantha, Diantha and Diantha must be defeated. It certainly helps that Ash himself is a Regional Champion and has already defeated Iris once in the World Coronation Series, but that this conversation is even taking place is indicative of the anime’s no-win situation regarding the future of its lead protagonist.
It’s no coincidence that once Ash became a Regional Champion by winning the first-ever Alola League Tournament, the anime broke its formula and opted not to have him partake in a traditional Gym Challenge in a new region. Ash loves to start again whenever he goes to a new place, so it was more than the fans could bear to see a Champion lose to Geodude or some other person while trying to win a meager Gym Badge. Ash is now the canonically the most powerful trainer in the country. PokémonOfficially, he is not allowed to compete for Gym Badges.
Ash Vs Cynthia Recap Part 1 & 2
Ash Vs Cynthia Part 1 Episode 123 Recap
Hello everyone, one of the most anticipated battles in the history of the Pokemon franchise Ash vs Cynthia has just begun and so far i’m actually really enjoying it. Let’s take a look, the battle starts with ash sending out dragonite and Cynthia sending out spirit doom.
This spirit tomb is a menace this is the demolisher of dreams right here once again i think they’ve done dragonite dirty whenever an attack comes its way it’s just it just kind of stands there and takes it and then also takes a long while to release an attack of its own dragonite only really landed one hit which was draco meteor and it really didn’t do much to spirit him.
He’s then put to sleep and spiritual finishes it off with dream eater which not only does damage but also heals the user so spiritum is most likely back to full hp during this battle so far cynthia does a lot of switching out and uses a lot of strategies so right now she switches into rosierade while wildlash sends out gengar rosary uses bullet seed and gengar uses shadow ball afterwards gengar uses willow wisp and burns roserade.
And at this moment cynthia uses a thousand percent of her brain capacity and remembers that rosary’s ability is natural cure which means if switched out any status conditions will be healed so cynthia switches out into spirit tomb once again and because of green meter spirit tomb is back to full hp therefore it’s already an uneven match for gengar.
Since it has been hit twice already gengar and spirit tomb create a hit and they both get back up nicely psych gengar is done, and spirit tomb is still demolishing everyone’s dreams cynthia switches out once again and this time sends out her toga kiss upon seeing this ash sends out pikachu to take care of business, we soon discover though togekiss is handling pikachu’s business with pikachu missing thunderbolt being hit by air slash and then getting hit again.
But cynthia decides to switch out one more time probably because toga kiss is still weak to pikachu, and she didn’t want to risk it she proceeds to send out the exact opposite of togekiss gastrodon which is immune to electric type moves, and it turns out the move that.
My last review predicted that togekiss would use fire blast. It turned out to be earth power. I’m stupid pikachu hops on the rocks to avoid taking damage just like his strategy in x and y gastrodon uses stone edge and pikachu destroys the boulders with iron tail and uses them to its advantage by hitting them towards gastrodon.
He then finishes it off with quick attack the first win in ash’s favor so far cynthia then sends out spirit to once again to maybe crush some more dreams little did she know though pikachu was the dream demolisher now as then pikachu uses strategy from way back in the diamond and pro series called the counter shield which is where pikachu spins around in circles using thunderbolt which serves as a shield.
But also as an offensive move this negates spiritual’s attacks and then damages it quite a bit, this was honestly my favorite scene in this episode by far pikachu then traps spirit tune with electroweb and finishes it off with iron tail.
However the dream demolisher doesn’t seem to quit he uses destiny bond right before fainting and in case you didn’t know destiny bond is a move which takes out the opposing pokemon in case the user fainted right before that so even while fainted spirit tomb still crushed everyone’s dreams and knocked out pikachu as well and the episode ended right there I really enjoyed this one it was packed with strategies and references to the old shows, and it was just a blast to watch as I said in the beginning this is one of the most anticipated battles in the whole franchise and so far to me, it’s been really enjoyable we’ve only seen the first of three parts of this battle, and honestly it’s already my favorite I’m looking forward to the next episode next week.
Ash Vs Cynthia Part 2 Episode 124 Review
this is hype the second part of ash vs cynthia just released, and it was my favorite masters eight episode so far when today’s episode started, cynthia still had four pokemon.
while ash only had three what i loved about this episode was the attention that was given to each of ash’s pokemon as of the beginning of this episode he only has surfaced dracovish and lucario left and i really liked that all three of them seemed like a priority and had great moments throughout the episode. reikovich is forced to face against cynthia’s ace as soon as it enters the field they both collided and then garchomp used stealth rock before cynthia retrieved it stealth raw being a move that damages any pokemon that switched into the field on ash’s side this will end up being important later on cynthia, then sends out her rose raid an interaction.
we had seen in the previews which i predicted drakovic would win however going into this i wasn’t so sure as rykovich looked really hurt rosarito ends up using poison jab which not only damages dracovish.
However, the poison also poisons the dracovish for the remainder of the battle. Both take significant damage and both end up taking a lot out of reykjavish’s health.
the two pokemon once again face each other head on as roosevelt uses leaf storm and reykjavishi’s dragon rush drakovich defeats roserade and now as ash tries to put rykovich back in its pokeball rikovich moves out the way signaling that he wants to continue another thing i loved about this episode was team rocket’s constant support for ash and his team throughout the season they’re enemies but whenever ash gets to the league or in this case the masters 8 they seem to be really supportive which i always think is awesome cynthia sends out our melodic and rykovic tries to land the hitter leon with dragon rush, but disarming voice doesn’t allow with true and then melodic ends up wrapping itself around rykovich.
they both played a hit draco vicious rand and mylotic’s iron head and dracovish feints also in part because of the poison ash proceeds to send out a surf edge saving lucario for last surpetch takes some damage from the stealth rock placed around the field by garth jump earlier ash realizes that stealth rock is going to be a problem so surfetch uses his shield to destroy all the rocks on the field which was really awesome it then dodges a hydro pump and the two pokemon clash.
The middle mylotic seems far more damaged than surfaced melodic uses disarming vocal once again, but surface prevails with meteor assault knocking off melodic making it a two-vs-2 battle.
Garchomp is not alarmed as it attempts to attack surface again sir fetch dodges detection and garchomp uses garchomp’s draco to finish it. He was also damaged by the draco surface and tried to sneak in another meteor attack. This resulted in both pokemon remaining there for a while, gotcha moved, and seemed fine.
But surface just stood in place this reminded me of the diamond and pro series with barry zampoleon or the sun and moon series with ash’s incineroar it was decided that cervette was unable to battle therefore lucario is now in a 2v1.
As we realized how statistically less likely ash is to win, we listened carefully to a sad song. Ash retrieves guard trump, and cynthia sends lucario to azlash. Lucario ghost cinderes emerges from its pokeball to smile back at lucario. This moment was so empowering.
Lucario manages to not be hit by turga kiss’s air slash using bullet punch to defend itself it then manages to move in closer and attack togekiss as well as lucario is charging up an r sphere though togekiss uses aura slash again and lucario takes a lot of damage from it.
This time after falling down to one knee and standing back up he really appears to be fine though the same thing from earlier happens air slash is countered by bullet punch and then the biggest plot twist so far is revealed cynthia won’t mega evolve her guard chomp she dynamaxes her togekiss and the episode ends as ash shows that he’s about to mega evolve his lucario too.
i genuinely really loved this episode I think every pokemon did its part, and it wasn’t just lucario working for it as i saw some people saying draco vision surfetch definitely surprised me in a good way i loved seeing drakovich want to stay in battle even though badly damaged and poisoned and i loved seeing cervex becoming Captain America and using its shield.
My favorite moments are the ones where team rockets were sheared and when the senate race read the book about cheering for lucario. Overall, a great episode.
People are hyped. People talk about it a lot.
The fight was the subject of three episodes. However, it was the first episode. It contained static fights and two shots. Gengar and Dragonite were legitimate. nothing. Gastrodon was absurdly tanky in Excadrill vs Quick Attack and got oneshot from Quick Attack.
And now this ep is better, but not that much, Sirfetch’d somehow makes freakin Garchomp stumble a lot with ONE move, Flint couldn’t do that, Iris’s Haxorus couldn’t do that in their whole match, but the duck that Ash caught a few months ago does this, sure.
Milotic got 3shot despite also being a tanky mon, there were Two dodges in the whole episode… and they had to Nerf Cynthia so Ash can win by plot, she uses DMax on Togekiss instead of, Mega evolving her Ace for her absolute full power, so Ash will beat Cynthia without her ace being at max strenght, great.
Winner : Sacha Team
