GKIDS Trailers Masaaki Yuasa Catalog, Adds 'Inu-Oh' Engagements

The highly anticipated U.S. release is fast approaching for his Venice Biennale feature and TIFF select feature. Inu-OhGKIDS announced new theaters in which fans can enjoy this amazing animated film and also released a trailer. Masaaki Yuasa collection.

Ride Your Wave (2019 Science Saru) and his latest. Inu-OhMasaaki Yuasa: The Works is a showcase of the acclaimed director’s varied approaches, bold style and perpetual ability to astound the senses.


This opera is described as a rock opera from the 14th century. Inu-OhNamed after one of the main characters, a boy who was born into a prestigious family but is cursed with an ancient curse that twists his body. When he meets the blind musician Tomona, a young biwa priest haunted by his past voiced by Queen Bee’s Avu-chan, Inu-oh discovers a captivating ability to dance. As the crowds flock to their larger-than life, electric concerts, they quickly become business partners. Inu-oh, Tomona and their bandmates threaten to split up. To uncover the truth behind their creative talents, they must dance and sing.
