Previously on Jujutsu Kaisen…

In the previous chapter, we saw a small flashback of Noritoshi’s house, where Shino is dwelling in his house. Noritoshi is still confused when he sees the old man. Shiho asks how he got to the place and Kuroroshi gives him credit. He then addresses Shiho as the captain of guards. Noritoshi responds that Heishichi is the captain. He then asks Shiho if he forgot about the next head in the family and talks about himself.

Shiho responds to this saying that a child such as him can’t deceive him. However, he also said that he does indeed look like master Noritoshi. After Noritoshi recognizes the danger, he opens the bedroom door and finds Kenjaku seated there. He mocks Noritoshi by saying that he is late, but it’s understandable as Tokyo’s transportation grid is not working.

Kenjaku then speaks with Noritoshi, explaining how he thought the Jujutsu headquarters would have been turned into puppets if they had received the Kamo Clan’s highest order. Then he says that Suguru Geto looks like Kenjaku, and that there was an order to execute him. He concludes that only a handful were responsible for corruption.

Kenjaku also discovered that Gakuganji had an influence over conservatives and he wanted him to return the headquarters notice. Gojo being an indispensable accomplice in Shibuya’s incident, it would be considered a criminal offense to remove his seal. Noritoshi is out of options.

Noritoshi asks if he has also taken care of the ones responsible for recommending Suguru Geto’s execution. Kenjaku replies in affirmation and adds that he has also dealt with those who named Okkotsu as Itadori’s executioner. Noritoshi questions Kenjaku about his plans to kill him. But Kenjaku denies it and says he won’t mess up the place and can’t do anything even if he is alive.

The scene now cuts to the present time, where a huge creature has entered the area. Maki claims it looks like a cursed spirit but it gives her a strange feeling. The massive creature attacks Maki at an incredible speed, and then slams Maki against the wall. The creature transforms into Naoya.
