Magneto vs Tetsuo. Fiction has many characters that are able to control objects telepathically, without ever touching them. Magneto from Marvel’s X-Men, and Tetsuo (from Akira) are two characters that have this ability.
But their abilities are very different. We know Magneto and Tetsuo have incredible power, but we don’t know which one is stronger. Which magneto or Tetsuo could win a fight against the other?
Tetsuo is likely to win a fight against Magneto. Magneto’s powers relate to magnetism. Tetsuo is able to control any object using his telekinesis. Tetsuo was also able to create a massive bang in an alternate universe.
Magneto might be one of the most powerful mutants in the history X-Men, but it’s also true that Tetsuo has insane powers. Perhaps he is the most gifted psychic in fiction history. We understand that Magneto fans are numerous, but we want to make it easy for you to see why Tetsuo is so special.

Abilities and Powers
Magneto’s mutant powers are centered around magnetokinesis. This is Magneto’s supreme command of all forms of magnetism. Magneto is an Omega-Level mutant, which gives him incredible control over his powers. This means that he is one the most powerful mutants in Marvel’s entire universe.
He is able to control magnetism and metals, which allows him to control the electromagnetic fields of entire planets. Magneto’s control over magnetism allows him to devastate entire planets by raising or sinking entire islands, or causing earthquakes or other calamities.
Tetsuo is well-known for his ability use Telekinesis to a godlike degree. This includes Akira in the Akira anime and manga. Tetsuo can use telekinesis at an even higher level because his telekinetic abilities allow him to create huge bangs in another universe.
Tetsuo has many psychic abilities. He was once able “resurrect” someone, but it was a failure. He can use his psychic abilities to teleport with his powers.
Magneto is an extremely powerful force, but Tetsuo’s power to create a huge bang is what makes him stronger. Tetsuo’s kinesis abilities make him more versatile than Magneto who could only control magnetism.
Intelligence
Magneto is known as one of the smartest mutants. Magneto is a genius in many areas of science and a mastermind when it comes strategy and tactics.

Magneto was also capable designing inventions similar to those of Reed Richards or Tony Stark. Magneto is a dangerous opponent. This is because he can use information to his advantage and employs tactics to do so.
Although Tetsuo may not be the most intelligent character in Akira’s story, his psychic abilities helped to increase his intellect. He can read minds and is therefore capable of reading them. If he was able to read the mind of his opponent, any mental or intellectual advantage he may have against him would be negated. He is not as smart as fictional characters with psychic abilities.
While Magneto is more intelligent than Tetsuo’s, it is important that we remember that Tetsuo has the ability to read minds. Magneto could try to use his helmet against Tetsuo’s mind reading abilities. However, we aren’t sure if this will work against a psychic with his level of ability. We believe Tetsuo could negate Magneto’s advantage during this round.
Physical Capabilities
Magneto is a mature male and has all the abilities of an adult man, including strong muscles. Magneto is a human being in terms of his physical capabilities. His magnetokinesis powers can still be used to increase his strength and physical abilities. He can increase the strength of his armor’s different metal fibers with magnetism.
Tetsuo, although still a teenager, has not yet grown into an adult male body. However his psychic abilities and the experiments that he has been exposed to have made him a remarkable human being.
Because his body can withstand extreme temperatures and is extremely durable, his psychic abilities allow him improve every aspect his physical abilities. Tetsuo has a high level of resilience. Through his superhuman healing abilities, he is able to rapidly regenerate his body.
Magneto is stronger than Tetsuo because he’s older and more powerful, but let’s not forget Tetsuo was also enhanced by his psychic abilities. Magneto, therefore, is inferior to Tetsuo’s augmented abilities.
Combat Skills
Magneto is a highly skilled fighter who can combine his fighting skills and his powers. Magneto can show his skill in fighting when he uses his abilities. Iron Man could be fought on the same level by Magneto, even though Tony Stark was slightly better. Magneto is still able to win close-range combat against a fighter who excels with close combat.
Tetsuo’s power is extraordinary, but he has never been trained in fighting. Tetsuo’s fighting skills are poor as he rarely had to use his close combat skills during battle. Tetsuo’s fighting skills are poor and he won’t be able fight against someone with far greater fighting abilities. This is probably one of his greatest weaknesses.
Magneto should be able, with his fighting skills and force Tetsuo in close combat if necessary. Magneto defeats Tetsuo easily in this round.
Magneto vs. Tetsuo – Who’s the winner?
We aren’t discrediting Magneto, even though we know how powerful he is. His ability to destroy entire planets could be a result of his abilities. Tetsuo’s powers are so powerful they could cause a big bang in another universe. This is what makes him different from Magneto.
A big ban refers to an event that has a broad impact on all of the universe and not just one planet. Magneto may still be capable of defeating Tetsuo but this makes Tetsuo more powerful than Magneto.
