During the Hero Fes 2022 that went down on Sunday in Tokyo, it was announced that My Hero Academia Season 6 will air in Japan on Sunday, October 1. American fans can rejoice as Crunchyroll is likely to broadcast the episode simultaneously in the U.S. On Sept. 25, 2021, the fifth season of the adaptation of the manga by Kohei Horizoshi was over. Izuku Midoriya will be back with new adventures in the next season, along with his superpowered friends.

Get ahead of the My Hero Academia Season 6 premiere, fans can watch the upcoming two-episode original video animation, which will debut on Crunchyroll on Monday, Aug. 1. In addition to the usual heroes, the new special will see the appearance of Shishido and Mr. Smiley. Shishido is a lion-themed professional hero, while Mr. Smiley is a vandal who scribbles on things for artistic purposes.

For those who may have missed the train My Hero AcademiaAs of right now, you can stream the entire series. Currently, all 113 episodes of the anime are available to stream in both subbed and dubbed formats on Crunchyroll for those looking to catch up.

My Hero Academia began as a manga series written and illustrated by Kohei Horikoshi. It first appeared in Weekly Shonen Jump, 2014. Its anime television adaptation was first shown in 2016. Both are ongoing.
