    Running Time: 85 Mins

Chronology. The movie is set between episodes 152-154.

    Naruto: Blood Prison

    Director: Masahiko Murat

    Running Time: 103 Mins

Chronology: The movie will likely be set after Episode 196 of the Naruto: Shippuden anime. The plot inconsistencies make this difficult to determine. Namely, Naruto was aware of Sage Mode and he remembered the time he met his father, even though the invasion by Pain hadn’t yet happened. The Fourth Raikage had his left hand, even though it was lost at the Five Kage Summit. Naruto was aware that Killer B existed, but he only met him while they were training at Island Turtle. It isn’t clear when this movie was shot.

Road to Ninja – Naruto the Movie

Road to Ninja: Naruto the Movie

    Release Date: July 28, 2012

    Director: Hayato

    Running Time: 109 Mins

Chronology: This anime is set after Episode 251 of Naruto Shippuden. Naruto must have already met his mother. It would be impossible to believe that Konoha Shinobi had been fighting against Pain. Episode 150 would not have this information. This also undermines Naruto’s understanding about his parents. It just doesn’t work. It was later revealed that the Akatsuki members weren’t the real Akatsuki (which is why the defeated were so easy and could be pushed to the ground).

    The Last: Naruto, Movie

    The Last: Naruto, the Movie

    Release Date: December 6, 2014.

    Director: Tsuneo Kojishi

    Running Time: 112 minutes

Chronology. This movie occurs after Episode 493 of Naruto Shippuden anime. We recommend that you watch it after Episode 500 because of some events at the end.

Do you really need to see all the Naruto movies?

Do you need to see all of the Naruto films?

As stated in the previous section it is not necessary that you watch anime movies. But there are exceptions. Naruto is one of these exceptions. The Naruto movies aren’t a must-see series. It’s possible to skip several of them without feeling like you missed anything.

The movies don’t have to be tied to the main storyline of the anime. Nine of the ten Naruto films do just that. You can skip the first nine movies if they don’t interest you. We don’t recommend them as they can be tedious and can be skipped if you’re not interested in losing any time.

Do you need to see all of the Naruto films?

The Last: Naruto the Movie is the only Naruto movie that you can’t skip. It is closely related to the anime. We have already covered the synopsis and the chronology. However, we must state that The Last is the conclusion of Naruto’s story. This film shows how their romance flourished and confirms that they were married. We saw some scenes later, but that’s all.

    Boruto: Naruto the Movie

Boruto, Sarada and Mitsuki all graduated from the academy. The series explores the story. Either watch Episodes 50-65, then skip to the movie. This movie is actually an adaptation of “Boruto”, making it canon. The stories may differ from one movie to the next.
