Robin is the mother of the “Perry Family”, and after Scott’s death, she tries her best to manage her family’s grief.
Scott Perry: Tom Everett Scott
He is the father of Perry’s family. His daughter is also diagnosed with terminal lung cancer. He forms a council with Dads in order to support his family in case he is not able to.
Luly Perry: Michele Weaver
Scott raised her by herself for eight years until Robin took her in. Luly is Anthony’s adopted daughter.
Theo Perry Emjay Anthony
Robin and Scott were the biological children of the teenaged son. He is just like normal teenage boys.
Evan Norris: Steven Silver
Evan is Luly’s husband and a member of the Perry family.

Preview of Council of Dads Season 1
Season 1 contains 10 episodes. To give you an overview of the whole story, here are the summary of each episode.
Episode 1 is called ‘Pilot’ and features Scott Perry (Perry’s father), who has been diagnosed with terminal cancer. Scott meets his Perry Family to discuss his health crisis. Scott informs his family that Scott is creating a Council Of Dads in order to assist the family with any problems they may face. This is to make sure his family is taken care of even when he can’t be there.
The next episode, ep.2, is titled “I’m not Fine”. Robin (The Mom of the Perry Family), thinks about the impact of the “Council Of Dads” on their daily lives. Larry takes his responsibilities seriously. Luly unexpectedly meets her Birthmother. She tells Luly all about Scott’s past life.
Next episode is Episode 3, titled “Who do you want to be?” In this episode, Larry makes a proposal to Robin. This offer could have a significant impact on the future of “Crab Shack”. Luly wants to impress her Writing Group. She draws upon her own experiences to create insightful and quality writing. This episode has Evan contemplating going back to school while Oliver continues with Theo.
Episode 4, titled “The Sixth Stage”, shows Robin contemplating a romantic relationship with Scott. This episode shows Evan and Luly risking their loan money by making a dangerous investment. Anthony makes new friends and prepares for the Crab Shack’s transition. Larry faces his past failures and confronts them in this episode.
Episode 5, titled “Tradition!”, explores the Perry family’s Autumn lives. Robin is brave and manages the holidays well but still thinks about Scott’s better handling of them. Oliver struggles with Peter’s transgressions. Theo makes new friends in this episode, but they don’t have a positive influence on him. Luly also learns more about her adopted family.
Episode 6, titled “Heart Medicine”, shows Charlotte in need of emergency surgery. The Perry family and council of dads come together to a**ist her. Luly is able to have a strong meeting after learning about her adoptive family. This meeting changed Luly’s entire life.
In episode 7, “The Best Laid Plans”, Anthony considers accepting a job that will require him to relocate to Las Vegas. Oliver confronts Anthony with a deep personal secret. This secret can lead to chaos within the family. In this episode, Evan is tested on his loyalty towards Luly and his mother.
In the eighth episode of the series, titled “Dead Dad”, Robin, along with the council for dads, decides to reveal a shocking truth about Luly. Oliver and Peter finally adopted a baby. But, they discover some disturbing news about the mother. This episode shows Robin falling in love with Sam despite the chaos in her family life.
Episode 9, titled “Story Weather”, is the penultimate. It tells the story of a severe storm which causes family members and friends to flee to higher ground. Luly assists Larry in reaching out to his Grand-daughters to help him escape the storm. An essay written by Luly later in the episode is lost.
Episode 10, entitled ‘Fight or Flight’, is the final episode of season 10. The last episode features Anthony arriving at Perry House to rescue Robin and Theo. Oliver has to use his medical skills in order to save Sage who is forced into early labour. The last episode shows how Crab Shack’s future is in balance. The Perry family’s children learn about Luly’s latest news later in the episode.
This is the conclusion to season 1. It’s a touching story with an emotional family drama that can cause viewers to weep. It’s worth watching on weekend nights.
