Like Vegeta, Tarble He was also born on Planet Vegeta. His father King Vegeta ordered Tarble Because he wasn’t able to fight or be aggressive enough to become an Saiyan warrior, he was sent to a distant planet. He is considered a Saiyan of low rank. Yo! Son Goku returns with his friends! Son Goku and his Friends Return! He marries Gure after meeting him. This is similar in style to Goku marrying Chi (an Earth resident) and Vegeta marrying Bulma.
Get on the Earth
Tarble and Gure fled Earth two years after Kid Buu’s defeat to find Vegeta’s help in defeating Abo and Kado. Tarble claims that the two have become as powerful as their masters and have been terrorizing his home ever since. Kado and Abo chase Tarble to Earth with SaiyanPods.
Tarble Gure and Gure meet Goku on the Earth’s surface. They can see that he’s a Saiyan. Vegeta tells Tarble That he knows Tarble is his name. TarbleVegeta, however, is recognized as his brother. This is surprising considering Vegeta’s inability to see Tarble. Tarble inspects Goku’s Scouter and informs him that his Power Level isn’t high enough to defeat Abo and Kado. Soon thereafter, Goku transforms into Super Saiyan. This is what makes Tarble realize that he doesn’t always have to rely on his scouter.
Vegeta asks for Vegeta’s help in fighting Abo and Kado. Goku and other members of the group want to join in. Trunks wins the battle, and they decide who will be fighting the incoming duo with radishes. Gure wishes him luck which prompts Vegeta to question her identity. To Vegeta’s delight, Tarble introduces her to his wife.
After Abo and Kado arrive, they fight Trunks (and Goten), who joined at Goku’s playful urging. Tarble doesn’t do much else for the rest of the special and has no dialogue. Who is Tarble? And What Does He Look Like.
Tarble, a gentle and kind-hearted Saiyan, is similar to Goku’s mother Gine. King Vegeta is shocked to learn that he is a Saiyan from the low-class. He was exiled from the planet and survived Frieza’s destruction of his homeworld.
Tarble still has his tail but he doesn’t wrap it around his waist like other saiyans. This could be a sign of a lack in aggression. It is possible that he could become a Great Ape, but it is not known if this is possible. Tarble respects his older brother, despite their apparent differences.
Tarble is a bit like Vegeta, in that he meets an alien woman. Gure isn’t as aggressive as Bulma, however. This indicates that less aggressive saiyans may not choose stronger women over their counterparts.
His peaceful planet is attacked by two henchmen, Frieza, Abo and Cado. He isn’t as skilled at fighting or strong as his older brother so he travels to Earth to seek help from other saiyans to protect his homeworld. Tarble Although he claims to be as strong as Frieza, this is him before Goku defeated Goku. This proves that the Z-Fighters are far more powerful.
In the end, it is Trunks (Goten), Abo and Cado who defeat Cado. This shows just how powerful Tarble is in comparison to them. After Whikle Goku, Vegeta, and Abo win the battle, Cado (and Abo) merge to create Aka. It’s possible that the children could have done the job themselves if given more battle experience. It is possible that they wanted to stop fighting because they were attending a party at the same time as other Z Fighters.
He is not mentioned in any other series. Dragon Ball! The Return of Son Goku. He is mentioned in Dragon Ball Z Battle of Gods as an option to assist Goku to become a Super Saiyan God, but this idea is quickly rejected by Vegeta, who has no way of contacting him and doesn’t know where he resides.
Is Tarble Really Canonical
Tarble status in the Dragon BallCanon is a complex topic. The film Dragon Ball: The Return of Son Goku and Friends! Technically speaking, it’s not canon for the anime series. Tarble This is discussed in the Dragon Ball Z Battle of Godsfilm, but not in the anime adaptation.
To complicate matters, Dragon Ball Super BrolyAlso, mentions Tarble. It is one the few movies that canonize the series. Although they are able to tell the basic storylines of anime, the movies canonize the whole series. Because they can tell the exact same story in both mediums, with slight variations.
And worse: Just because Tarble is canon due to Dragon Ball Super mentioning his name, doesn’t mean the events in Dragon Ball The Return of Son Goku & Friends! These are not canon. This means that Treble’s canon version could differ from the one we have seen.

- Although “Table” could be a translation of his surname, it is not used in official translation. This is likely because “Table” reminds us of furniture.
- Tarble is believed be in his 30s in Yo! Son Goku and his friends Return! Not to be forgotten, though, is the fact that Saiyans still have their primes and youth longer than Humans. Goku hasn’t changed much since his 17th birthday. This could explain his teenage appearance. Vegeta’s shorter stature may also be genetic. His short stature may have been a factor in Vegeta’s excommunication by Saiyans. They saw little fighting potential.
Gure and Tarble in Yo!’s manga adaptation Son Goku and his friends return! !
- Tarble’s hair looks very similar to Adult Gohan in the movie. His hair is a manga adaptation of his older brother’s.
- Tarble seems to believe Vegeta beat Frieza. He seems unaware of Goku’s role and who he is. He seems unaware of Frieza’s short return and final defeat on Earth.
- Tarble, the last full-blooded Saiyan to have never been transformed into a Super Saiyan is seen shortly after his appearance. He is also one of the few fullblooded Saiyans that hasn’t died in the series.
- Tarble doesn’t wrap his tail around like the combat armor-wearing Saiyans, such as Raditz or Nappa. He lets his tail fly, much like Goku or Gohan.
- Vegeta is less powerful than the average Saiyan so it’s a shame for the royal bloodline. Vegeta does have a great relationship with Tarble, his younger brother. Tarble admires Vegeta’s fighting skills but Vegeta looks up to Vegeta. Vegeta may have given his brother some room because Tarble admires Vegeta’s older brother and may also believe Vegeta defeated Frieza. This may also be due Vegeta’s new attitude about family.
